Event Musings: 3-Minute Thesis Competition!

Hello everyone!

We had a most a wonderful time at our 3-Minute Thesis Competition and we really hope that you all did, too! Thank you so very much to all of our incredible presenters and audience members! We had the most awesome time!

Please find below some words about the event from our Vice-President and event host, Ulfat, who had the most wonderful time and very much hopes that everyone also enjoyed themselves!

“The 3 minute thesis competition was an absolute blast! We had the absolute pleasure and the most incredible honour of listening to such fascinating presentations from our wonderful presenters! From Astrophysics to Earth Sciences, Physiology and Paediatrics, Theoretical Physics, Oriental Studies, Maths, Literature and Modern and Medieval Languages, I have learnt so much and I am so inspired, and I cannot wait to continue learning from everyone, and the questions for the presenters were all so fascinating! I cannot wait for our fantastic upcoming events, and to continue having the most wonderful conversations! Thank you so very much, everyone, and the most *HUGE* congratulations to all of our fabulous winners: Andriana Tsikritea (DPhil, Department of Chemistry), Ella Williams (DPhil, Oriental Studies Institute), and Laurel Kaye (DPhil, Department of Physics)!!! We absolutely loved hearing all about your and everyone’s incredible research, and we wish you all all the very best of luck with absolutely everything always!” - Ulfat Islam, Clarendon Council Vice-President
