Clarendon Scholars Dinner at Za’atar Bake 25MT
Za’atar Bake is a warm and welcoming Middle Eastern restaurant, where a traditional stone oven stands ready to awaken the senses. Guests will enjoy authentic, freshly prepared Arabic cuisine. On the menu for this evening is Maqloubah, a traditional rice dish layered with vegetables and optionally meat. The dish is famously served “upside down”, and guests will have the chance to watch it being flipped and served.

Tickets (includes one Maqloubah and one homemade juice): £7.50 (Vegetarian/Vegan) or £8.50 (Chicken or Lamb)

Traditional Palestinian dish served with spiced basmati rice and yogurt on the side
Option A: Vegetarian / Vegan Maqloubah
Carrots, mixed peppers, cauliflower, courgettes and aubergine
Option B: Chicken Maqloubah
Tender pieces of chicken, aubergine, cauliflower, onion, garlic and red pepper
Option C: Lamb Maqloubah
Tender pieces of lamb shoulder, aubergine, cauliflower, onion, and a slice of tomato
Juices: Various homemade juice options are available
Due to the preparation process, their dishes may contain allergens, such as traces of nuts, traces of sesame seeds or gluten.
