Hi everyone, I’m Viviana! I’m a first-year DPhil student in Egyptology at The Queen’s College. My research centres on Ancient Egyptian visual culture of the 2nd millennium BC, with a focus on indigenous modes of visual perception of object surfaces, such as mirrors, stelae, statues, and pottery. I hold a BA in Archaeology and an MPhil in Egyptology, both from the University of Cambridge. When I’m not strolling around museums, I enjoy sketching, writing, photography, and long walks.
