Join your fellow Clarendon Scholars for a creative improv workshop led by the Oxford Imps. Over two hours, participants will be introduced to the core principles of improvisation and have the chance to put them into practice.
The Oxford Imps will guide us through the fundamentals of improv, including the yes-and principle, creating believable characters, and understanding what makes strong short-form dialogue. These skills lay the groundwork for building engaging scenes together.
Participants will then play a selection of games used in real Oxford Imps shows, applying what they have learned, working with different people in the room, and ending the afternoon on a high note as everyone brings their ideas to the stage.
No experience needed, just come along and enjoy the workshop with your fellow Scholars.
