Selection will be made by a small panel drawn from the organising committee, with the aim of ensuring academic quality, clarity of communication, and a representative programme across disciplines. The programme will be structured to ensure an equal division of speakers between Clarendon and St John’s, while also aiming for a representative spread across disciplines (e.g. humanities, social sciences, and STEM) to reflect the diversity of research within both communities.
This event aims to showcase academic talent across disciplines in a formal, high-profile setting, bringing together Clarendon Scholars alongside members of the St John’s MCR and SCR.
The academic programme will include a mix of a keynote, Three-Minute Thesis presentations, short TED-style research talks, and a brief artistic performance, showcasing outstanding research, intellectual creativity, and scholarly communication across disciplines.
