Shaunak is currently a first-year student at Magdalen College, pursuing a DPhil in Molecular Biology through the ILESLA program. His research interests include molecular biology, immunology, and plant biology, and will be working on molecular pharming research during his DPhil. His academic background stems from his BS Biotechnology, Plant Biology where he has researched chloroplast genome engineering and virulence proteins involved in the Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation process. Outside of the lab, Shaunak is an avid horticulturalist, loves pencil sketching, and loves listening and producing Indian classical music.
